Paneer Bhurji is a North Indian Dish, made with crumbled paneer. It is served with Roti or Chapati for lunch or dinner.  For making paneer Bhurji you should always use fresh homemade paneer. So it becomes easy to crumble the paneer and bhurji will not be dry. Also it will take only 10 mins for preparing the tasty paneer bhurji.

Ingredients

  • Oil (2-3) tbsp
  • cumin seeds
  • 1 chopped onion
  • finely chopped green chilli
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder 
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 cup paneer crumbs
  • kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
  • chopped coriander leaves

Steps

  • Take oil in a frying pan and Heat it.
  • Add cumin seeds. Fry.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chilli, and onion. Fry till it becomes brown in color.
  • Now Add finely chopped tomato and let it become mashy. Stir-Fry.
  • Once the mixture is fried add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt as per your taste.
  • When all the spices get roasted add paneer crumbs and mix well.
  • Now cover it with lid for 2-3 mins till paneer gets cooked.
  • Finally add kasuri methi and chopped corriander leaves for garnishing.
  • And it's done. Serve with Chapati or Roti.
