Monsoon is coming and we are all waiting for those tasty roasted corns or bhuttas. We have various sweet corn Recipes so you can enjoy your favourite sweet corn this monsoon.

 

 

 

1. Masala Corn


Masala corn is easy to make yet tasty snack.
For making masala corn first you need to boil the corn into a pressure cooker. Cook it for 3 - 4 whistles on a medium flame. Once it's done Turn off the flame. Let the Pressure cooker cool and then remove the lid. Take the boiled corn from cooker and cool it. Remove the Corn Kernels. Take a bowl add the kernels to it and add red chilli powder, black salt, butter, black pepper and chat masala. Mix all ingredients well. Also add some drops of lemon juice.

 

 

2. Corn Pakoda


Grind the Corn Kernel in a mixer or food processor. Take the mixture in a bowl. Add ginger paste, coconut powder, chopped green chilli, coriander leaves to it. Add yoghurt. Mix everything well. Now add 1/2 cup besan(pigeon pea flour), Sugar, turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Make sure that the batter is not too thin. The consistency should be medium. Put a frying pan on gas add oil into it and Heat the oil. Check the oil is hot. Make small pakodas with your hand. Deep fry in Oil. Keep turning it on other side. Fry till it becomes golden brown. Remove it on a tissue paper. Serve Hot during rainy days.






 

3. Corn Bhel


Take boiled corn Kernel and boiled potato in a bowl. Heat the oil in a Pan on medium flame. Add boiled potato and Corn to the pan. Mix well. Add chaat masala, red chilli powder, salt as per taste. Keep it for 3-4 minutes. Now Turn off the flame remove the entire mixture to the bowl and let it cool. Add chopped onion, tomato and coriander leaves to the mixture.  Mix well. Lastly Add green chilly chutney and tamarind chutney to the mixture. Garnish with sev. And it's done.

 

 

4. Corn Cutlet


Take smashed corns in a bowl. Add chopped green chilly, coriander, salt, black pepper and ginger paste to it. Mix it well. Add bread crumbs to make the mixture thick. Now take small portion out of it and make flat balls. Likewise prepare all flat shapes. Put the frying pan on gas and Heat the Oil in it. Once the oil is Hot. Add the balls one by one to the oil. Deep fry them. Flip them on other side. Fry until it becomes brownish. Remove them on a paper towel. Serve Hot with tamarind chutney.
